Spent the second half of my Puerto Escondido trip at Bonita and it was an awesome time. Previously stayed at the big party hostel in PE and was very glad to make the switch over to the calmer - but still social and exciting - Bonita. Bonita's pool and outdoor area/facilities are what set it aside and foster a great community and social scene. The bar is fairly priced and the bartenders make good drinks, though I do wish they had some snacks for sale, whether it be simple foods or even packaged snacks like chips. The bed was comfy, though it'd be nice if the mini-shelf were bigger, and if the outlet were nicer as well. An underrated perk is that you can actually flush the toilet paper! It's also nice that the hostel provides free drinking water (as everywhere should). Something to potentially note is that the individual dorms do not lock, though there are standard lockers, and the entrance to the hostel itself is gated with a security guard. I never once felt like my belongings were unsafe, despite everyone being able to access my dorm. Highly recommend Bonita to everyone and would go back in a heartbeat. Shoutout to Calypso, Anna, Lilly, Gabriele, and Ash for their friendliness, enthusiasm, and good drinks!

This hospital is the perfect place for travelers to come who want to be in a central location and also have access to activities and motorbike and other rentals. Michael and the team there are excellent . I highly recommend going even if you're just hanging by the pool! Keep in mind there is security at the door and they do check your bags for outside drinks and weapons.

Best hostel in La Punta. The vibe is friendly and fun. I stayed here for 3 weeks but could have easily stayed longer. Shout out to the amazing staff. Everyone welcomed me in like family. I will miss this place and all the memories. Till next time!

Not my favorite hostel experience. People were very cliquey and not inclusive, felt like I was in high school again for a bit. Never followed through with activities and staff didn’t really care about guests. I ended up having fun in the end, but not because of my stay in this hostel

Best hostel in puerto Escondido. Joy happiness and freedom is what guides this hostel the staff and volunteers. Makes you feel at home in your staying. Everyday there is an activity Where all the people in the hostel are invited and can get to know each others. One of the best hostels in Latin America !

The only hostel to stay in Puerto Escondido!! Social events every night, a gorgeous pool and plenty of areas to chill and recover. Unreal hospitality be sure to get to know the crew there! Thank you Tala, Ash, Nadia, Calipso, Adrienne, Ash, Gabby and the rest of the legends for making my stay unforgettable. I’ll be back lol

Bonita Escondida is a great hostel for anyone looking for a friendly social atmosphere and excellent room facilities. The staff there are unparalleled in their quality, there are always fun activities on offer, and the hostel layout facilitates making new friends around the pool. Location is also well situated, being a 10 minute walk max from playa zicatela and close to the collectivos into the town centre. Only real drawback is that the rooms get unbearably hot during the day, as the AC doesn’t get turned on until the evening.

The best hostel in Punta, best staff, best activities, best environment. If you want to have the best time and Puerto Escondido I would strongly recommend to stay there! Shout out to Rui, Miah, Calypso, Marc and all the volunteers who made my time there absolutely amazing.
